Job Announcement

From today’s PADG digest.

The New York Public Library (NYPL) invites applications for its Head of Registrar Services position.

The Head of Registrar Services (HRS) manages robust programs for special collections movement, exhibitions, and loans. The HRS provides registrarial support services to NYPL research sites and manages geographically distributed operations. With vision, flexibility and openness to innovation, the Head of Registrar Services will lead the transformation of a well-established, museum-like operation into an overarching Library collections management program. Part of this growth incorporates a new dimension and workflow: the movement of research and special collections materials among various sites of NYPL. The Head of Registrar Services is a member of the Preservation Management Group and reports to the Assistant Director for Preservation. Regular travel between NYPL locations is required.
